Judge Tallman passed the bar in 1974 after graduating from the University of Denver in 1973. In 1986 he was appointed to be the Cheyenne County Court Judge.
The Cheyenne County Judgeship is a part-time position, permitting Judge Tallman to continue his own cattle/farm operation. The jurisdiction of the court includes traffic, misdemeanor, small claims and civil matters under $5,000.
The surveys obtained in Judge Tallman’s evaluation were limited but very favorable.
