Stuart, Kenneth 1996 Evaluation

Eighteenth Judicial District - District Court Judge

Honorable Kenneth K. Stuart

Retention Year: 1996
Recommendation: Retain

The Commission unanimously recommends that Judge Kenneth K. Stuart BE RETAINED.

Judge Kenneth K. Stuart received an A.B. degree from Princeton University and a J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law. He was appointed to the bench in June of 1981. Prior to that appointment he was an attorney in private practice.

As Chief Judge, his duties include administration as well as maintaining a daily docket. Judge Stuart’s negotiation skills are evidenced by his encouraging all the judges work together in solving overloaded docket problems. His evaluations were exceptional and speak well of his abilities as a judge and as a fair and competent arbiter.
