The Seventeenth Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance unanimously recommends that Judge Sabino Ernest Romano BE RETAINED.
Judge Romano engaged in private practice from 1974 until 1983 when he was appointed County Court Magistrate in Arapahoe County. In December of 1986 Judge Romano was appointed as an Adams County Judge.
Judge Romano has heard both criminal and civil cases however he has been in the civil division of the Adams County Court since 1993.
Surveys completed by attorneys, court employees, and probation employees rated Judge Romano high in courteousness, fairness, demeanor, sense of justice and compassion. Those responding indicated he is diligent, communicates well and maintains a professional demeanor in the courtroom. All of those responding to the surveys indicated that Judge Romano should be retained.
