Judge Morris was appointed to the county court bench in April 1985. Judge Morris retired from military service have served in the Army and Navy prior to his entry into the legal profession. He practiced law for thirteen years before his judicial appointment.

Judge Morris is a county court judge hearing criminal, civil and domestic violence cases.

All groups rated Judge Morris substantially above average in all categories surveyed. He has concern for public safety and the victims of crime. One of his major concerns is seeing domestic violence cases handled efficiently. He has a tough sentencing policy on crimes of violence. He considers his position as a judge to be an honor.

The 1st Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance recommends that Judge Robert F. Morris be retained.
