Judge Warren O. Martin graduated from the University of Colorado Law School in 1955. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Judge Martin was a private attorney specializing in litigation. He was appointed to the district court in July 1980 and has served in the criminal, civil and domestic relations divisions. Judge Martin is currently on the civil bench.
The Commission evaluated Judge Martin based upon information received through questionnaires of individuals involved in the legal process, and an interview of the Judge. Judge Martin overall received above average evaluations. Courtroom observations by the Commission showed Judge Martin to maintain control over the proceedings.
