The Commission unanimously recommends that Judge Thomas C. Levi BE RETAINED.

Judge Thomas C. Levi has been on the bench for 18 years, appointed to the county court in 1978 and the district court in 1981. He is a graduate of East High School in Denver and received his law degree from the University of Colorado in 1967. He served in the U.S. Army Finance Corps in Korea and also served at Fort Carson.

Judge Levi’s caseload consists of approximately 600 cases per year in the civil division. He is articulate, knowledgeable and experienced. He has received high marks for fairness and for his sense of justice.

Areas in which Judge Levi has indicated he needs improvement are gaining more time for keeping up to date in case law and being more patient.
