Thirteenth Judicial District - District Court Judge
Honorable James R. Leh
Retention Year: 1998
Recommendation: Retain
The Thirteenth Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance unanimously recommends District Judge James R. Leh BE RETAINED.
Judge Leh was first appointed to the bench in 1977. He is now Chief Judge in the Thirteenth Judicial District, as well as being involved in community activities. Evaluations by attorneys, court employees, litigants and others were, by and large, very favorable if not laudatory.
Approximately one-third of Judge Leh's time is absorbed by the administrative duties required of a Chief Judge. His work as a District Judge continues to command respect of all involved.
