Gerard presides over traffic cases, misdemeanor criminal cases and preliminary felony hearings in the 5th Judicial District’s second busiest county court.
Gerard was noted by survey respondents to possess excellent integrity and to be very fair in his court proceedings. The commission said it could not give an opinion on Gerard’s retention because of his uncertain health.
