Judge Truston Lee Fisher has been serving as County Judge in Lincoln County since June 1, 1987. He is a non-lawyer. He currently hears small claims, traffic infractions, civil cases up to $10,000, traffic misdemeanors, felony advisements, preliminary hearings, temporary shelter hearings, misdemeanors and juvenile advisements.
Judge Fisher received the following overall ratings to retain: Litigants 75%; Jurors 100%; and Attorneys 88.9%. Judge Fisher was observed by a member of the Eighteenth Judicial Performance Commission and interviewed by the Commission. The Commission felt he has integrity and is knowledgeable about the law.
Judge Fisher has a diverse rural docket. He has been effective in creating a docket that is workable for all concerned parties. His ministerial skills are evident whether talking to defendants after they have pled or performing a wedding in the courtroom. Judge Fisher is active in his community.
