The Eighteenth Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance unanimously recommends that Judge Ethan D. Feldman BE RETAINED.

Judge Feldman received his law degree from the University of Denver in 1974. From 1974 to 1980 he served as Deputy District Attorney, and later as Chief Deputy District Attorney in the Eighteenth Judicial District. He was in private practice and served as part-time Municipal Judge from 1980 until he was appointed to the Arapahoe County Court in 1992. Judge Feldman handles criminal and traffic cases, and civil jury trials.

97.8% of attorneys surveyed recommended Judge Feldman be retained, and 100% of court/probation personnel, law enforcement personnel, and litigants recommended retention, as did 95.5% of jurors.

Attorneys gave Judge Feldman high marks for making correct legal decisions. Jurors ranked him highly for being courteous, considerate and unbiased. Law enforcement, litigants, and court/probation personnel gave him outstanding ratings as well.

Judge Feldman is regarded as conscientious, knowledgeable, and patient - all characteristics of a very good judge.
