Judge Fattor, 53, was appointed to the Lake County bench in February 1970. In addition to traffic offenses and misdemeanor criminal cases, Judge Fattor also presides over small claims and civil cases and hears a good number of pro se or cases tried without attorneys, each year.
Based on a review of his survey results as well as interviews and consideration of the judge’s experience in Lake County, the Fifth Judicial District Commission recommends retention of Judge Joseph Fattor.
The 5th Judicial District Commission on Judicial Performance recommends that Judge Joseph A. Fattor be retained.
