Judge Curry was admitted to the bar in 1973. He was employed in private practice and as a deputy district attorney before his appointment as a judge. In 1981, he was named as a county court judge, and in 1988 as a district judge in the 18th Judicial District. Curry is assigned to the Douglas County Courthouse, where he has had a diversified docket, handling all types of cases.
