Judge Colver was appointed to the Phillips County Court Bench in 1980 and has served continuously for 14 years. Judge Colver presently hears criminal misdemeanor, traffic, traffic infraction and civil cases as a part-time judge. He also has a private practice of law in Holyoke.
Evaluations received from courthouse personnel, attorneys, and litigants consistently rated Judge Colver very highly. The Commission’s impression of Judge Colver based on an in-person interview is that he very competently fulfils his office and has temperament very well suited to a rural county court judge.
